LARGE VINTAGE SEATED SANTA

Made in 1972, this vintage, rustic Santa, is complete with a handmade, burlap satchel.
As told to me, she handcrafted him while she was getting near the end of her pregnancy, with her 4th son. She was a pediatric nurse, mother, artist, seamstress and huge crafter.
She made several of the pieces that I have listed. His form is made of wood and his suit has a lot of detail.
I have him sitting in a regular size rocking chair to show his size. He is approximately 4FT tall.
